The Pendleton Tribute Series pays homage to the American mills that pioneered the weaving of Indian trade blankets. Blankets from Racine Woolen Mills of Racine, Wisconsin, were notable for their excellent quality. The mill specialized in nearly square fringed blankets, also called shawls, which were worn primarily by Native American women. Lightly napped. Felt binding. 82% pure virgin wool/18% cotton. Dry clean. Made in the USA. 64" x 72".
Each blanket comes with a special tribute label and is packed in a vintage-style 1920s box design from our archives.
